Suns rendered as concentric rings of fine linework — a pale gold core ringed in coral and butter, then ring after ring of scratched indigo radiating outward until they collide with the next sun along. Between them the lines swirl and cross-hatch like a night sky cut into a printing plate.

For the reader who likes her covers with some heat in them. Hypnotic, hand-etched, and closer to a woodcut than a photograph — the sort of print that keeps pulling your eye back.
