We don't print book titles, characters, sigils or symbols from published series — not because they wouldn't sell, but because they belong to their authors and publishers. If you came looking for a specific book's iconography, this collection won't have it, and any shop that does is selling you something it doesn't own.

Partly taste and partly practicality. A near-black or deep-green ground hides the fingerprint smudging that collects along the opening edge and the corner rub from a bag — and fantasy is a genre people read in long sittings, late, with the device going in and out of a nightstand drawer. These are the covers that still look right after a year.

The trade-off runs the other way for personalization: a debossed name on a very dark cover is close to invisible in flat light. If you're putting a name on it, pick a mid-tone ground.

They overlap and they aren't the same. This collection is motif-led — anything with a dragon, a moth, a tarot card or a magic library on it, wherever it sits in the catalog. Dark Romantasy is the full aesthetic: gothic cathedrals, candlelight, night gardens, the whole mood rather than the creature. Browse this one if you want the motif; browse that one if you want the atmosphere.

Made in 7" (2024–2025 Paperwhite, Paperwhite Signature, Colorsoft Signature), 6.8" (2021–2023 Paperwhite) and 6.0" (11th-generation Kindle). Vegan leather with a Saffiano cross-hatch texture over a TPU inner shell, magnets that sleep and wake the screen, and an elastic hand strap on the inside back panel — which is the feature that matters at two in the morning, one-handed, on your side.
