Which iPad Do I Have?
Fourteen iPad models, and three of them are called “iPad Pro 11-inch”. Take thirty seconds now and you will not be posting a case back to us later.
The fastest way: read the number on the back
Turn your iPad over. Printed in small type near the bottom is a number starting with A — A2696, A3357, and so on. That number identifies your iPad exactly, which the name on the box does not always do.

If the print is too worn to read
Open Settings, tap General, then About. The Model Name line gives you the generation and the size. The Model Number line just below it gives you the same A-number that is printed on the back.
What we do not fit
We do not currently make this case for any iPad mini, or for the iPad 6th generation and earlier. If your number is not in one of the lists above it will not fit — and we would rather lose the sale than send you a case that does not sit flush.
The four mix-ups worth knowing about
iPad Air 11-inch and iPad Pro 11-inch
Within a few millimetres of each other, which is exactly why it goes wrong. The camera housing is a different size, so a Pro in an Air case has part of its lens array covered. No Air shares an A-number with a Pro, so the number settles it in one look.
iPad Pro 12.9-inch and iPad Pro 13-inch
Apple renamed the size in 2024 and changed the body while doing it. We fit both, but they take different cases. If you bought before 2024 you almost certainly have the 12.9-inch.
iPad 10.2-inch and iPad 10.9-inch
Seven millimetres and a squared-off edge apart, and both get called “the normal iPad”. The 10.2-inch is the 9th, 8th and 7th generation — the one with the home button. The 10.9-inch is the 10th. This is the most common mistake we see.
iPad A16 and iPad 10th generation
Different bodies, despite the family resemblance. The A16 is the 11-inch iPad and the 10th generation is the 10.9-inch. Pick by the number, not by the look.
Do I need to measure my iPad?
No. There is nothing to measure and no size to choose. Pick your model from the dropdown on the product page and the fit is handled — our cases are cut per model rather than to a generic 11-inch or 13-inch template, which is why the ports line up instead of sitting half-covered.
