Kindle Size Guide
Kindle model names are confusing on purpose, so here's the short version: if your Kindle is a 7" Paperwhite, Paperwhite Signature Edition, or Colorsoft from 2024 or 2025, our cases fit it. Everything else, they don't — yet.
Find your model in 15 seconds
- On your Kindle, tap the three dots in the top right.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Device Options.
- Tap Device Info.
- Read the line marked Device Type — that's your model.
No Kindle to hand? The model is also printed in small type on the back of the device, near the bottom.
What fits a Case Noir case

The bit people get wrong
The 2021 Paperwhite is 6.8" and the 2024 Paperwhite is 7". They look almost identical side by side, and the difference is enough that the wrong case won't close properly. If your Kindle is more than a couple of years old, check the Device Info screen before you order rather than guessing from the shape.
The good news: the 7" Paperwhite, the Paperwhite Signature Edition and the Colorsoft are all the same physical size, so any Case Noir design fits all three. You don't need to pick a size at checkout — there's only one.
A note on personalised cases
Personalised cases are printed with your own text or photo, which makes them final sale. We can't exchange one for a different model, so it's worth checking Device Info twice before ordering.
