Blue and navy Kindle cases

Two distinct things gathered in one place. The blues are lighter and warmer — ticking stripe, cornflower florals, turquoise dots, block-print tiles. The navies are the night-sky end: deep midnight grounds with antique gold constellations, moons and gilt framing, most of them from Celestial and Dark Romantasy.

Which one suits how you read?

Navy with gold is the most dramatic thing in the catalog and the most gift-ready. It is also the group that shows fingerprints most along the opening edge, because a dark matte ground with metallic detail is unforgiving that way. The lighter blues — ticking stripe in particular — are the opposite: quiet, hard-wearing, and the sort of cover you stop noticing, which for a daily object is a compliment.

Does the gold wear off?

The gold in these designs is printed artwork on the front cover, not foil, so there is no raised layer to lift or flake at the corners. Personalization is different again — that is debossed, pressed into the cover rather than added on top.
