About Case Noir
Who we are
Case Noir is an independent design studio making aesthetic Kindle cases for people who read a lot and care how their reading setup looks. The brand is owned and run by Rowena, and registered at Pastoor Jakobsweg 100, 6226 VX Maastricht, Netherlands. Every design in the shop is drawn or art-directed in house — we don't resell generic stock cases.
What we make
Folio-style cases for the Kindle Paperwhite (2024–2025), Paperwhite Signature Edition and Colorsoft Signature 7". Each case is made from vegan Saffiano-textured PU with a soft TPU inner shell, a magnetic closure with auto sleep/wake, and an elastic hand strap on the back so you can hold your Kindle one-handed. The print sits on the front cover; the back panel is plain matte black. Personalised cases are debossed — a subtle pressed indent, not foil or printed ink.
How your order is made and shipped
Our cases are made to order by our print partner and shipped from their US production facility, which is why every design is always in stock and why personalised cases can't be cancelled once production starts. Standard US delivery is 2–5 business days after production. Full rates and timelines are on our Shipping Policy page.
Returns and exchanges
We offer exchanges within 30 days of delivery on unused cases in original packaging. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items are replaced at our cost. Personalised cases are final sale because they're made individually for you. The full terms are on our Refund Policy page.
How to reach us
Email contact@casenoir.com and a real person — usually Rowena — will answer within one business day, Monday to Friday. You can also use our contact form. We answer questions about sizing, personalisation and order status before and after you buy.
Payment and security
Our store runs on Shopify with an SSL-secured checkout. We accept the major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. We never see or store your full card details.
