Fit & compatibility
Which Kindles do your cases fit?
Kindle Paperwhite 7" (2024–2025), Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition 7", and Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition 7" (2024–2025). All three share the same case size. Our cases do not fit the Kindle Scribe, Scribe Colorsoft, Kindle Basic 6", or the older 6.8" Paperwhite. Our size guide walks you through finding your model.
Will it fit a Kobo or a Nook?
No. Our cases are cut for Kindle only.
The case itself
Is it real leather?
No, and deliberately so. It's 100% vegan PU with a Saffiano cross-hatch texture, which holds colour and resists scuffing better than coated leather at this weight. No animal product is used anywhere in the case.
Is the design on both sides?
The print is on the front cover only. The back panel is plain matte black on every design.
Does the magnet really wake the Kindle?
Yes. Magnets in the lid trigger your Kindle's own sleep/wake sensor, so the screen sleeps as you close the cover and lights as you open it. It also saves battery.
How does the hand strap work?
It's a vertical elastic strap on the inside back panel, sewn at the top and bottom. You slide your hand in sideways and it holds the Kindle against your palm for one-handed reading.
Which way does it open?
To the left, like a book. Your Kindle mounts on the right interior panel.
Personalisation
How do I add initials or a name?
On personalised designs, tap Personalize this case on the product page, type your text, check the live preview, then tap Continue and Save design before adding to cart. Your text travels with the order automatically — there's nothing to email us.
Is the lettering printed or foiled?
Neither. It's debossed — pressed into the cover as a subtle indent that catches the light.
Can I return a personalised case?
Personalised cases are final sale, because they're printed with your own text or photo and can't be resold. If one arrives faulty, damaged, or the personalisation doesn't match what you submitted, email us within 30 days with a photo and we'll replace it or refund you in full.
Ordering & delivery
When will my order arrive?
Orders are prepared within 2–5 business days (3–6 for personalised cases), then delivery within the United States takes 4–10 business days. You'll get a tracking link as soon as your order is dispatched.
What does shipping cost?
Within the United States, $6.89 for the first case and $2.99 for each additional case. International rates are calculated at checkout — see our shipping policy.
Do you ship outside the US?
Yes. Canada, the UK, the EU and the rest of the world, though delivery takes 12–35 business days and import duties may apply.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email contact@casenoir.com as fast as you can. If your order hasn't gone into production we'll change it; once it has, we can't.
Returns
What's your return policy?
Exchanges within 30 days of delivery on unused cases in original packaging. Return postage is yours on a change of mind. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items are replaced or refunded in full at our cost. Full terms are in our refund policy.
