Graduation gifts for a reader

Personalization is what makes this one land. A case with their name or initials debossed into the cover marks the occasion without being a plaque, and it goes straight into daily use.

Debossed, not foiled

The lettering is pressed into the Saffiano-textured cover rather than printed or foiled on top of it, so nothing lifts or flakes over the years this is meant to last. The honest trade-off: it's subtle. On a very dark cover a monogram reads as texture in flat light. Mid-tone grounds show it best.

Order early

Made to order means 3–6 business days to prepare plus 4–10 business days to arrive in the US — about two weeks, and graduation dates don't move. It also means final sale, so both the spelling and the Kindle model need to be right before you save the design.

Which size

7" for the 2024–2025 Paperwhite, Paperwhite Signature and Colorsoft Signature; 6.8" for the 2021–2023 Paperwhite; 6.0" for the 11th-gen Kindle. A graduate's Kindle is often a few years old, so check Device Info rather than assuming the newest model — the size guide walks through it.
