Personalize Your Case

Three ways to make a case yours: your initials, your name, or your own photo. Each one is set into the design rather than stamped over the top of it, so there is nothing raised to catch and nothing to peel at the corners.

The three options

Initials

Two or three letters, set small and usually low on the cover. A monogram reads as intentional from across a table in a way a full name does not — it is the quiet version, and the one that works as a gift for someone whose taste you are not completely sure of.

It works hardest on calm grounds: stripe, stone, plain color, tonal lace. On a dense animal print or a checkerboard the letters get lost.

A full name

Longer and louder. This is the version people buy as a gift, because it removes any doubt about who it was for. Short names hold their weight on almost any design; long ones want a quiet ground.

Your own photo

How to add yours

1. Open any personalized design and choose your model.
2. Click Personalize.
3. Type into the Initials or Name field, or click + Image to upload a photo.
4. Check the live preview — it shows exactly what will be made.
5. Click Continue, then Save design, then add to cart.

Your text or image travels with the order automatically. There is nothing to email us afterwards.

How it is applied

This differs by device, and it is worth knowing before you order the matching set.

Kindle and iPad folios — the lettering is debossed, pressed into the vegan Saffiano-textured PU as an indent. You can feel it with a thumbnail. It is not foil and it is not printed gold; the letters are the same color as the cover, picked out by the shadow the indent casts.

Phone shells — the lettering is printed, applied by dye sublimation as part of the same edge-to-edge pass as the design around it. The color goes into the surface rather than sitting on it. There is no indent to feel, and it will not catch the light differently from the rest of the case.

Good to know

• Check your spelling before you save. The preview is what gets made. We do not correct text, because we have no way of knowing whether an unusual spelling is a mistake or the point.
• Two or three letters works best for initials. Longer strings shrink to fit and lose their weight against the design.
• Photos want at least 1500 × 2000 pixels, portrait. Keep faces and detail away from the edges — the print runs to the edge and a little is lost in the cut.
• Personalized cases cannot be returned unless they arrive faulty or incorrect. Each one is made to your text, so it cannot go back into stock. Non-personalized cases can be exchanged within 30 days.
