Personalize Your Case
Two ways to make a case yours: your initials or your name. Each one is set into the design rather than stamped over the top of it, so it reads as part of the case instead of a sticker added afterwards.
Personalization is currently available on phone, AirPods and MacBook cases. Our Kindle cases are not personalized.
The two options
Initials
Two or three letters, set small and usually low on the design. A monogram reads as intentional from across a table in a way a full name does not — it is the quiet version, and the one that works as a gift for someone whose taste you are not completely sure of.
It works hardest on calm grounds: stripe, stone, plain color, tonal lace. On a dense animal print or a checkerboard the letters get lost.

A full name
Longer and louder. This is the version people buy as a gift, because it removes any doubt about who it was for. Short names hold their weight on almost any design; long ones want a quiet ground.

How to add yours
- Open any personalized design and choose your model.
- Click Personalize this case.
- Type into the Initials or Name field.
- Check the live preview — it shows exactly what will be made.
- Click Continue, then Save design, then add to cart.
Your text travels with the order automatically. There is nothing to email us afterwards.
How it is applied
Phone and AirPods cases — the lettering is printed, applied by dye sublimation as part of the same pass as the design around it. The color goes into the surface rather than sitting on it, so there is no raised edge to catch.
MacBook cases — the lettering is printed into the design and sits under the same protective coated finish as the artwork around it.
Good to know
- Check your spelling before you save. The preview is what gets made. We do not correct text, because we have no way of knowing whether an unusual spelling is a mistake or the point.
- Two or three letters works best for initials. Longer strings shrink to fit and lose their weight against the design — especially on an AirPods case.
- Personalized cases are final sale. Each one is made to your text, so it cannot be resold. If one arrives faulty, damaged or doesn't match what you submitted, email us a photo within 30 days and we'll send a free replacement or refund you in full. Full terms in our refund policy.

How it works
- Step 1: Choose your design and your Kindle model — Paperwhite, Paperwhite Signature, or Colorsoft.
- Step 2: Add your initials, name, or photo at checkout. You'll see a preview before you confirm.
- Step 3: We make it. Embossed pieces take three to five working days in the atelier. Photo cases, two to three.
- Step 4:We ship worldwide, tracked.
Choose your customization
Before you order
Custom pieces are made for you, so we can't accept returns on personalization — please check spelling and image quality carefully at checkout. Embossed letters appear in our Maison Noir house font; lowercase and uppercase read quite differently, and the preview shows exactly what you'll receive. For photo cases, we recommend uploading the highest-resolution version you have.
