Citrus wheels in watercolour — orange, lemon, grapefruit — sliced open and scattered across a soft pink wash, with pastel bows drifting between them in blue, rose and mint. Small blossoms and stray leaves fill the gaps, and the whole thing is painted loose enough that the colours bleed gently into each other.

For the reader whose summer involves a lot of iced drinks and a lot of chapters. Bright, zesty, and just girlish enough — the bows keep it sweet, the citrus keeps it fresh.
