Good to know: the lettering is printed into the design, sitting under the same protective coated finish as the artwork around it. There is no raised indent to feel — that is the debossing on our Kindle and iPad folios, and it is not what happens here. Because your case is made to your text, it can't be returned unless it arrives faulty or incorrect.

Watch out: the MacBook Air 13.6 and the MacBook Pro 13.3 are exactly the same width. The Pro is deeper. Measuring will not settle it — click the Apple menu, then About This Mac, and read the first line.

Does not fit: MacBook Pro 15-inch and earlier, the 12-inch MacBook, or older MacBook Air bodies.

Deep burgundy ribbed with fine vertical pinstripes running the full height of the lid, close-set enough that the surface shifts tone as the light moves across it. Your initials sit low and centered in a fine serif, printed into the stripe rather than over it.

A stripe gives lettering a grid to sit against, which is exactly what a monogram needs and exactly what a busy print refuses to give it. On a MacBook lid — the largest surface we print — that structure is what keeps it looking considered rather than decorated.

Returns & Exchanges

Personalized cases are final sale. Because your case is made with your own text, we can't resell it, so it can't be returned or exchanged for a change of mind — please double-check your spelling and your MacBook model before you order. The Air 13.6 and the Pro 13.3 are the same width, and that is the most common wrong order we see.

If your case arrives faulty, damaged, or the personalization doesn't match what you submitted, email contact@casenoir.com within 30 days with a photo and we'll replace it or refund you in full, return shipping on us.
