Three ways to make one yours. Two or three initials debossed into the cover, a full name of up to eighteen characters, or your own photo printed across the front. You type the text on the product page, check the live preview, save the design, and it travels with the order — there's nothing to email us afterward.

Is the lettering printed, foiled, or pressed in?

Pressed in. It's debossed — the letters are stamped into the Saffiano-textured surface as an indent that catches the light at an angle. It is deliberately not foil and not printed metallic ink, both of which lift and flake at the edges after a year in a bag. The trade-off is that debossing is subtle: at arm's length, in flat light, a monogram reads as texture rather than as lettering. If you want a name that shouts across a room, this is the wrong finish.

How long does a personalized case take?

Personalized cases are made to order, so they take 3–6 business days to prepare rather than the 2–5 of the standard range, then 4–10 business days to arrive within the US. Budget about two weeks door to door if you're aiming at a birthday.

The part worth reading twice

Because each one is made with your text on it, personalized cases are final sale — we can't exchange one for a different Kindle size or a different spelling. Check Settings → Device Options → Device Info on the Kindle first (the size guide walks through it), and read your own spelling back before you save the design. If a case arrives faulty, damaged, or the personalization doesn't match what you submitted, email contact@casenoir.com within 30 days with a photo and we'll replace it or refund in full.
