Kindle Paperwhite cases in three sizes — 7", 6.8" and 6.0"
Every design in this collection is a folio case: a hinged cover that opens to the left like a book, with your Kindle held on the right interior panel. The print sits on the front cover; the back panel is plain matte black on every single design. The material is vegan leather — PU with a Saffiano cross-hatch texture over a TPU inner shell, with no animal product anywhere in the case.
Which Paperwhite size do I need?
Amazon reused the Paperwhite name across two different body sizes, which is where most returns come from. The 2024–2025 Paperwhite (12th generation) and the Paperwhite Signature Edition are both 7". The 2021–2023 Paperwhite (11th generation) is 6.8". They look almost identical stacked next to each other, and half an inch is more than enough for the wrong case to sit loose and refuse to close flush. Check Settings → Device Options → Device Info on your Kindle and read the Device Type line, or work through the Kindle size guide. Dedicated pages: 11th generation 6.8" cases and 6.0" Kindle cases.
What the magnets actually do
The magnets in the lid trigger the Paperwhite's own cover sensor, so the screen sleeps as you close it and lights as you open it — no button press, and noticeably less battery drain than leaving it to time out. The same magnets hold the cover shut in a bag.
Where this case is the wrong choice
There's no kickstand and no fold-back prop, so it isn't built for propping the Kindle on a desk at an angle — it's built for holding, with an elastic strap on the inside back panel for one-handed reading. It also isn't waterproof or rugged; it's a soft folio for a device that mostly lives between a nightstand and a tote bag. If you want a clear back so the Kindle's own casing shows through, this isn't that either — the shell is opaque TPU.
Personalized designs are debossed with your own text, which makes them final sale. Everything else is exchangeable within 30 days, unused and in its original packaging. Standard US shipping is free.
