Vintage Matchbook Kindle Case

This case is made for two Kindle models:

• Paperwhite / Colorsoft 7" (12th gen, 2024–2025), including the Paperwhite Signature Edition and Colorsoft Signature Edition.
• Paperwhite 6.8" (11th gen, 2021–2023), including the Kids Edition.

Does not fit: the basic Kindle 6.0" (2022–2024), the Paperwhite 10th gen (2018), or Kindle Scribe and Kindle Scribe Colorsoft (10.2").

Not sure which one you have? On your Kindle, open Settings → Device Options → Device Info, or see our size guide.

A tumble of vintage matchbooks — red lips, flames, hearts on fire, cherries tied with a bow, a single red rose — in red, pink and black on a speckled cream ground, some of them open with the matches showing. Retro, flirty and just a little bit dangerous. For the reader who likes a slow burn, and then doesn't.

On a paperback-sized cover the matchbooks overlap edge to edge at sticker scale, so there's a new one to notice every time. Printed front and back.

A note on color: every screen shows color a little differently, so the printed case may vary slightly from the photos depending on your device, display settings and brightness.

Every case is printed to order, so small variations in color, print placement and size from one case to the next are normal.

Why we don't make clear cases

Clear cases are transparent TPU or polycarbonate, and both yellow as the plastic reacts to UV light and the oils on your hands — starting at the corners and edges where you hold it. If you read outside or leave your Kindle near a window, it can start showing within a few months, and it can't be cleaned off because the discoloration is inside the material.

Our cases are opaque vegan PU with the design printed on, so there's no transparent plastic in the cover to turn amber. More on that here.
