Which end to pick
Lilac is the more delicate choice and the one that suits a debossed name best — pressed lettering needs a mid-tone ground to catch light, and pale purple gives it that. Plum and aubergine are richer and hide wear far better, which matters on a case that lives in a bag. If you like the colour but want something you'll still like in two years, buy deeper.
